Our services are designed to glorify God and encourage believers through the faithful preaching of His Word. When you visit First Baptist Youngstown, you can expect a warm and friendly welcome, congregational singing of hymns and songs, prayer, and Expository Bible preaching.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the preaching of Scripture is the centerpiece of our services. Whether you've been attending church your whole life or this is your very first time, we want you to feel at home.

Our services typically last about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. The dress is come-as-you-are — you'll find people in everything from suits to jeans. What matters most to us is that you're here.

We love kids at First Baptist Youngstown! We provide a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers during all of our services so that parents can worship without worry. Our nursery workers are background-checked and trained to provide safe, loving care for your little ones.

During our Sunday morning services, we offer age-appropriate children's Sunday school where kids learn the great stories of the Bible through engaging lessons, songs, and activities. We believe it's never too early to start teaching children about God's love and the good news of Jesus Christ. We do bring all children over the age of 4 into the worship service with the adults. We believe church is a family affair and want our children to be a part of that. We understand that little ones can be wiggly and noisy — and that's perfectly okay with us.
